What's the catch?
There isn't a monthly one. You pay for the build, and your standard website is hosted free, in an account in your name. Your domain renewal is paid to your registrar, not us. Any optional paid tools or extra hosting are scoped and explained before you commit.
Do I really own the website?
Yes. Your website files, domain and hosting account are yours. You hold the keys and choose who gets access, including any developer you want to work with later.
What happens if you two disappear?
Your site keeps running. The website files, hosting account and domain are all yours, so any web developer can take over without asking us for anything.
Can I edit the site myself?
Not with a drag-and-drop editor in our standard setup. We hand over all the website files, so you or another developer can edit them. If you prefer us to do it, basic text or image changes are NZ$50 + GST. A maintenance plan isn't required to keep your site live.
What if I need changes later?
Basic text or image changes are NZ$50 + GST. Larger redesigns or changes are quoted before we start. Ask when you need something changed; there's no required ongoing plan.
Can I keep my current domain and email?
Yes. We review your domain, website and email setup before agreeing on any changes needed for launch, and check that your email keeps working when the new site goes live.
What about bookings or an online shop?
We scope those separately and give you a fixed quote. Existing tools may work well; some features need a larger build. Booking and shop tools can have their own monthly fees or usage costs, which we explain before you decide.
How much does a website cost?
A one-page site is NZ$1,500 + GST. A site with up to five pages is NZ$2,500 + GST. Basic updates are NZ$50 + GST, and larger jobs are quoted. We agree on the scope before building. Domain renewals and optional paid services are separate.
